Jenn Franklin is a professional singer-songwriter who uses her life experience, captivating voice and powerful music to chart her journey toward recovery from an eating disorder. Through personal anecdotes and music inspired by the healing process, audiences are given an up-close view into the mind & heart of what it means to live through the pain of disordered eating—and to ultimately find strength, freedom and peace on the other side.

Since 1999, Jenn has performed as a musician/speaker for high schools and colleges in the mid-west and south-central regions of the U.S. She is a member of the National Eating Disorder Association (NEDA) and is part of the speakers bureau for her local organization, the Eating Disorders Coalition of Tennessee, based in Nashville.

In the music industry, Jenn has flourished as an independent recording artist. Her songs have been featured on MTV's "Real World," and have been played on over 175 college/indie radio stations. She was a finalist for the 2010 Lilith Fair Contest for Nashville and has been compared to intelligent, edgy pop artists such as Sara Bareilles, Ingrid Michaelson, and Mary Lambert. She's been a showcasing artists during festivals such as South by Southwest, Midpoint Music Festival, Midwest Music Summit, Diversafest, International Folk Festival, and the NY Songwriters Showcase. Her single, "Can't Touch You" won first place in a fan-sponsored, Twilight Battle of the Bands for the Twilight movie series.
